The Sequs Consulting team are highly skilled and experienced consultants who are committed to providing high quality workplace health and safety services.
We specialise in the development, implementation and maintenance of management systems for a diverse range of businesses including cableways, leisure and tourism enterprises, charities, facilities and financial management companies.
Sequs Consulting began trading in March 2012 and has grown successully over the past 7 years to expand the range and number of clients and services offered. We are recognised as the principal provider of cableway services in the UK and beyond and regularly assist clients in gaining authorisation under the Cableway Installation Regulations for new and modified cableways.

Jacqueline Rice
Principal Consultant
Jacqueline has almost 20 years’ experience as a safety consultant and has sector-leading expertise, experience and practical knowledge of Cableways and regulations governing their operation. Over the past 17 years Jacqueline has accrued extensive knowledge of cableway operations throughout the UK. Based in Scotland she works extensively with the Scottish Ski industry and plays a proactive role in ASSA (Association of Scottish Ski Areas). Jacqueline is the Secretary for the UK Cableway Standards Committee and provided input to the recent review of the Cableway Standards. She has considerable expertise and experience in the safe, successful operation of safety critical work environments in challenging settings with public interfaces, including the development of bespoke safety management systems which are being utilised on several major projects, including, Doppelmayr Cable Car, Cairngorm Mountain, Edinburgh Indoor Climbing Arena and Loch Lomond Shores to name but a few.

Graeme has 24 years’ experience in safety management and is an experienced construction professional. His particular expertise is in the development and implementation of management systems (quality and health & safety) on large scale construction projects including the Borders Railway, Edinburgh Gateway station, Ravenscraig redevelopment, Smart Motorways programme and the M8, M73, M74 Motorways Improvement project. He managed the Railways Approval process for the Cairngorm funicular railway in order to obtain HM Railway Inspectorate approval for the railway and was responsible for the development of the Railway Safety Case documentation. Responsible for the review of development of documentation for the CairnGorm ski area to address the requirements of the Cableways Installations Regulations. This included restructuring the safety case documentation for the funicular railway and developing documentation for the ski tows to form the Technical Files.
Our future plans
A key focus of our business is the development of Integrated Management Systems (hence Sequs – Safety, Environmental, Quality, Unified Systems). Increasingly, clients are seeking integrated management solutions with an emphasis on software packages to aid implementation.
For this reason, Sequs are investing in the development of web-based management system to optimise business performance, enable regulatory compliance, and streamline ISO initiatives.
